Open seven days a week, the Weston YMCA Family Center in Weston, South Florida is an integral part of the community, providing a state-of-the-art facility offering overall health and wellness solutions for children, adults, and seniors. A long-time Advanced Roofing, Inc. (ARI) customer, Weston YMCA contacted Advanced Air Systems (AAS), a commercial air conditioning company and a division of ARI, after the chillers and pumps on their 180-ton combined HVAC system reached the end of their service life.
Maintaining a fully-operational building for the community to enjoy during the chiller replacement was imperative for the client, so AAS provided a temporary chiller system to cool the facility while two new 90-ton air cooled Carrier Scroll chillers were installed. The four-man crew also installed two 10HP in-line Taco pumps, new chilled water piping with insulation and metal jacket, and a new Metasys Control System, with minimal interruption to operations.
Advanced Air Systems holds a Class-A contractors license and can perform unlimited commercial air conditioning services for customers in Florida, all while providing a great value to nonprofit customers like the Weston YMCA.
